Let’s Bee Friendly in Wexford

Wexford Tidy Towns “Let’s Bee Friendly” biodiversity campaign was launched this year by the biodiversity committee of Wexford Tidy Towns and supported by Wexford County Council as an action under the Wexford County Biodiversity Action Plan 2013-2018. The aim was to encourage everyone to keep under-threat pollinators like bees in mind when planting and looking after our gardens. Learn more about how you can help from these gardening tips and you are encouraged to make a pledge on the “Let’s Bee Friendly” campaign page to let Wexford Tidy Towns know how you did or are helping our bees.

Wexford in Bloom helped by providing lots of flowers again this year around Wexford town, for both the people and the bees to enjoy! Below is some photos of the Bees enjoying the Wexford in Bloom flowers.
