Wexford in Bloom was launched for 2014 by Mayor George Lawlor on Wednesday 30th of April in the Faythe. We are looking forward to the summer months as we have been working with the local retailers to organise flower baskets for them and are targeting other local areas in the town with flower. You will see the lovely floral displays that adorn Wexford Town in the Summer making an appearance in the coming weeks. The Wexford in Bloom committee also are currently organising the details of the 2014 Wexford in Bloom Competition and we will update all the details about how you can enter on the website once they are finalised. We always get a great response from the community and we know people love the competition and flowering of the local community through the retailers and community areas. Thank you to everyone who entered the competition last year and we hope to see you enter again this year too! There are some beautiful gardens and community areas in Wexford and we love getting to see them. We would also like to highlight the 1798 Street Gardens which were planted last year and are really coming to life now.
